2008-2009 QUICK USER GUIDE
This year’s Quick User Guide is hot off the presses! You can find the 2008-2009 edition by clicking the link above. For ease of use, we made the emails are interactive. Navigation is made easy by using the tabs along the right side or clicking the items under the Table of Contents. Printing instructions: In Adobe Reader, click the pages tab on the top left-hand side. Click the first page that you want to print, then hold down shift and click the last page that you want to print. Now that your pages are selected, click the Print button. Make sure that “Selected pages” option is selected. The hard copy of the Quick User Guide will be delivered beginning the third week of October. For more information contact Brandon Evans.

PORTFOLIOS INVESTMENT SIMULATION GAME
The Miami Valley Tech Prep Consortium, Sinclair Community College Accounting Department, and Deloitte Tax LLP are offering an investment education workshop for high school students featuring the Portfolios Investment Simulation game. The students team up to manage a portfolio of stocks, bonds, and a money market fund over a realistically simulated 10-year period. As they “experience” investing, the students learn lessons of long-term saving & investing that they will need to know to secure their financial future. STATEWIDE 'WE ARE IT' DAY
On November 21, 2008 Sinclair Community College will be one of over twenty sites hosting a state-wide "Girls in IT" conference. Our event will target 9th and 10th grade girls who will participate in hands-on computer activities, spend time with IT professional women, and meet other girls interested in learning more about technology and IT careers. All girls will receive a gift bag, but some will walk away with fantastic door prizes and perhaps win a computer! On November 14, 2008 Sinclair Community College Courseview (Mason Ohio) will be hosting a “We Are IT” on their location. For more information go to the website at www.weareitatscc.com
