"The College and Career Transitions Initiative (CCTI) is designed to improve student transitions and improve the academic performance of students at the secondary and postsecondary levels. In this national project we have learned that most students need more effective career guidance and exploration early in high school in order to improve their academic performance. MEtaMorph is a unique and effective creation that merges career exploration, English language arts competencies, and computer skills into one comprehensive curriculum package for ninth grade students. In my opinion, this work should be replicated across the country as it emphasizes early career guidance, academic and technical rigor, career pathways, college readiness, and persistence toward degree or certificate completion at the postsecondary level."
