Tech Prep Showcase

Every year, Tech Prep students from across Ohio compete in Tech Prep Showcases, beginning at the District level right here in the Miami Valley Tech Prep Consortium. Students develop projects based on the skills and knowledge they have gained in Tech Prep. They are judged on the following:

  • Knowledge Achieved
  • Demonstration and Evidence of Technical Skill
  • Presentation Skills
  • Integration of Business & Industry

The Showcases feature twelve categories: Allied Health, Automotive, Business, Biotechnology, Criminal Science, Construction, Digital Design/Interactive Tech, Engineering, Environmental, Exercise Science, Graphic Arts, Information Technology.

The Showcases provide students with the opportunity to network with other consortium students and to interact with judges from the industries involved. To take a look at the new 2008 District Showcase winners by category go here:
