Lesson 2: Career Interests
What Road Should I Take?
Activity 3: The Road I'm Taking
- Use your career exploration findings to begin or update your
individual career plan (ICP) on the Kuder
website. The ICP link is located under the Planning menu. Begin
to complete such areas as career exploration, extracurricular
activities, and special skills.
- Finally, write a letter to your parent/guardian explaining
the career field path you've chosen. Identify your top three
occupational choices, why you've chosen them, specific details
you've researched, and the path you intend to take toward your
chosen field. Type the letter and use proper business letter format,
correct spelling and grammar. Use strong
verbs to show you're serious about your choice and you know
what you are talking about.
Include your username and password, so your parent/guardian can
access your online files. This letter must be read and signed
by a parent or guardian.
Go to the Letter
Rubric to see how your assignment will be graded.
