Description: Microscopic work is needed in most areas of endeavor in the life sciences and health related fields. Form and function are so closely linked that observational inspection of the form can often be used to find the pathway of functional problems. Thus familiarity of the microscopic world can often provide students with the concrete foundation for learning in areas of life science and the health related fields. This unit provides activities and instruction using different microscopes so that work and learning in the related areas of science can be accomplished.
