Title: Families Matter: Responsible Families Make Responsible Citizens

Description: Families are a basic unit of society. Each individual is a member of a family structure. It is probable that students will experience transition in their own family structure throughout their lifetime. Family Service Association is an agency that helps families cope with transitions by offering assistance to strengthen both families and communities. This curriculum unit will: 1. Increase awareness of the services provided by Family Service Association, 2. Help students see the need and importance of the family unit to society, and 3. Demonstrate to students how responsibility taught in the family leads to responsible citizenship.
