Title: Edible Plant Extravaganza

Description: This unit is designed for teachers who teach middle school science, social studies and ELA. This unit will be most successful if completed during the spring or fall. It is dependent on plants being in bloom. It is used as an interdisciplinary unit using plant exploration as the overall theme. It is designed for teachers to use in their classroom so that students gain a greater appreciation for the natural world around them. Each subject area contains approximately 2 weeks of lesson plans.

Subjects: English/ Communication/ Language Arts, Science/ Engineering, Social Studies/ History/ Economics/Marketing
