Description: This curriculum unit is designed for a unit on waves. It can be used to cover the topic of waves, including sound, light, and earthquake waves. Special emphasis is placed on lasers, because I worked in a laser lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and lasers are now widely used for many applications. Some of the applications involve medical uses, remote sensing, manufacturing, and measuring.
