9th and 10th Grade Preparation Grade:

• General/Physical Science
• Biology I
• English 9 and 10
• 2 years of Mathematics (Algebra 1 included)
• High School graduation requirements

11^th Grade Studies:

• Introduction to Biotechnology (Sinclair Course BTN 110)
• Laboratory Safety & Regulations (Sinclair Course BTN 120)
• Computer-Word Processing/Spread Sheet*   
• High School graduation requirements

12^th Grade Studies:

• Biological Reagents Preparation (Sinclair Course BTN 130)
• Biotech Lab Techniques
• High School graduation requirements
• Electives (Human Biology, Chemistry) **           w

*  Passing the Sinclair proficiency test earns college credit

** Must be elected outside the high school Biotechnology block

College:

• Sinclair Biotechnology Curriculum

Students successfully completing the Sinclair portion of the program will earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Biotechnology. Students may then enter the career path of their choice or continue on to a bachelor's degree program.
