College:

Students complete course work toward an Associate Degree with a track in Law Enforcement-Police Science, Corrections Based Diversion Rehabilitation, Institu- tional Corrections, or Industrial and Retail Security. This career field necessi- tates lifelong learning in high level academics and technology. The trend that governs careers in criminal science today is based on the premise that the more education and training one has in criminal science the more career opportunities are available. The Sinclair Criminal Science program is aligned with the Bachelors Degree Program offered at the University of Dayton, Wright State University and other Ohio four-year universities (2+2+2). Sinclair offers the option to enter the Criminal Justice Training Academy (OPOTA) that prepares cadets for the Ohio Peace Officers Training Commission. Successful passage of the exam qualifies a graduate to seek a law enforcement position.
